ABOUT CIBIDOIL™ LABORATORY GRADE FULL SPECTRUM CBD OILS™
“Full Spectrum” means our CBD oils contain the wide array of cannabinoids, terpenoids, flavoninds, essential vitamins, minerals, omega fatty acids, fiber, plant waxes, alkanes, amino acids, aldehydes, ketones, glycosides, pigments naturally occurring in the industrial hemp plant (Cannabis Sativa L.).
Laboratory reports (certificates of analysis or COAs) are available for each batch of Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ we put on the market.
“Laboratory Grade” is a term used as part of the “Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™” trademark.
By “Laboratory Grade” we mean that our products are manufactured in state-of-the-art laboratories, under strict manufacturing, hygiene and quality control processes and expert supervision, using ad hoc equipment with the aim of achieving high grade, premium CBD oils.
Our oils are then HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) tested in 3rd party laboratories which results in the issuance of a laboratory report (certificate of analysis or COA).
This laboratory report provides a cannabinoid summary detailing concentration of :
- CBD (cannabidiol)
- CBDV (cannabidivarin)
- CBDA (cannabidiolic acid)
- CBG (cannabigerol)
- CBN (cannabinol)
- CBC (cannabichromene)
- THC (tetrahydricannabinol)
- THCA (tetrahydricannabinolic acid)
Cibidoil™ offers a complete range of Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™.
Our range includes the following concentrations: 3% (300mg) 10ml, 5% (500mg) 10ml, 10% (1000mg) 10ml, 15% (1500mg) 10ml, 20% (2000mg) 10ml,25% (2500mg) 10ml.
Taste is a subjective matter. However, Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD oils™ are designed to offer the full potential of the hemp plant. They are “full spectrum”, made from full plant materials and RAW. In particular, we make every effort to preserve the natural terpene content of the plant.
Terpenes are what give hemp its unique smell and flavor. Therefore, their taste profile is rich and complex, and may be unusual for some.
Even though it is widely accepted that taking CBD oils sublingually offers improved bio-availability, CBD oils may also be consumed with or mixed into food or drinks of your liking to help with ingestion.
Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ may contain very low amounts of THC but never more than 0.2% (THC < 0.2% w/w).
Each batch is slightly different and has its own unique cannabinoid profile, which can be examined on the laboratory report (available on request).
No. Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ are FOOD SUPPLEMENTS, not pharmaceutical products or recreational drugs. Our CBD oils are not designed to nor intend to be psychoactive or induce a “high”.
From batch to batch our CBD oils may contain very low levels of THC (the naturally occurring psycho-active substance in Cannabis), but always at levels below the legal 0.2% w/w limit for THC concentrations in industrial hemp dried plant material.
These low THC levels are not considered to induce intoxicating effects (“high”).
We recommend to consult your doctor before starting any food supplement program (including our CBD oil), to ensure if right for your needs.
Side effects depend on how your body tolerates CBD and the other componds naturally present in our food supplements. Therefore we cannot guarantee how your body will respond nor can we guarantee that you will not experience side effects.
However, CBD is generally considered safe. It is therefore reasonable to expect that there shouldn’t be any significant side effects linked to the presence of CBD in our full spectrum CBD oils.
Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ are manufactured via super-critical CO2 extraction, in a GMP and HACCP compliant laboratory, under the supervision of PhD scientists.
Super-critical CO2 extraction (a type of SFE – supercritical fluid extraction) is an innovative technology referred to as “green chemistry”. It’s a process that uses pressurised CO2 (carbon dioxide) to extract the desired phytochemicals from a plant (such as CBD from the industrial hemp plant).
The use of CO2 (already widely used in the food industry, to carbonate “fizzy drinks” for example) allows for extraction of the plant’s compounds without the use of potentially harmful chemicals.
No. Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ are NOT made from isolates.
No. Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ are NOT winterised.
Winterisation, also known as alcohol wash, is a process which takes place after the CO2 extraction phase. The raw plant extract is mixed with ethanol, then heated and finally frozen to filter out certain by-products.
Whilst this process mainly aims to remove plant waxes from the oil, it also has its drawbacks such as reducing the oil’s terpene content. Terpenes are what give hemp its unique smell and flavor. The result of winterisation is therefore a less flavorful and aromatic oil.
Our aim is to deliver the full potential of the cannabis plant, in its most purest, unaltered form. Whilst we believe that removing the small quantities of plant waxes naturally present in the oil adds nothing to the product, removing the terpenes affects the oil’s aromatic profile negatively.
For the same reason we do not decarboxylate our CBD oils, we also chose not to winterise them.
No. Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ are NOT decarboxylated.
When industrial hemp grows, it produces CBD-A and not CBD. CBD-A is known as the acidic precursor to CBD.
Decarboxylation is a chemical reaction which removes a carboxyl group from certain molecules, such as CBD-A from example. The decarboxylation of CBD-A results in CBD and carbon dioxide for example.
Decarboxylation is a process which occurs naturally, through drying and ageing of the plant. Or it can be achieved in the laboratory by heating the plant extracts. However this process can negatively affect the oil’s terpene profile. The terpenes are the oils that give cannabis its unique smell and flavor. Decarboxylation can result in a less flavorful and aromatic oil.
Our aim is to deliver the full potential of the cannabis plant, in its most purest, unaltered form.
We prefer to let the decarboxylation process occur naturally, rather than speed it up in the lab.
For the same reason we do not winterise our CBD oils, we also chose not to decarboxylate them.
Yes. Cibidoil™ Laboratory Grade Full Spectrum CBD Oils™ are vegan.
No. Legally speaking we cannot claim that the industrial hemp used to manufacture our CBD oils is organic nor claim that our CBD oils themselves are organic, because in order to do so we would have to register with one of the UK approved organic control bodies to do so. More information on organic labeling in the UK can be found on the Business Companion website, which explains UK Trading Standards law.
However, our industrial hemp is grown from non-GMO seeds, without the use of herbicides, pesticides or fungicides (which are all criteria which must be met in order to apply for organic certification).
Yes. Laboratory reports (certificates of analysis) are requested by us for every batch of product we sell. These laboratory reports are available to our customers on request via email at customerservice@cibidoil.com or via the contact form available on our website. Please have your batch code to hand (available on the base of the cardboard folding box or on the label on the dropper bottle).
ABOUT INDUSTRIAL HEMP (CANNABIS SATIVA L.)
Industrial hemp and marijuana are both varieties of Cannabis Sativa L., one of the three main sub-types of the cannabis plant (the other two sub-types being Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Ruderalis).
Generally speaking, “industrial hemp” (or “hemp”) is used to refer to the non-psychoactive variety of the plant, and “marijuana” to the psychoactive variety (also commonly referred to as simply “cannabis”).
Industrial hemp has historically been used to provide fiber, food and fuel. Concentrations of psychoactive compounds (THC) in industrial hemp are far too low to be useful for that purpose. THC concentration must be below a legal limit of 0.2% w/w in dried plant matter for the cultivation of industrial hemp to be legal, provided a hemp growing licence is granted to the grower. In the United Kingdom, this licence is granted by the Home Office.
On the other hand, marijuana has been bred to achieve high concentrations of THC (sometimes up to 30%, or 150x the maximum THC concentration found in hemp) and has been used for spiritual, recreational (“high”) or medicinal purposes. Under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, cannabis is an illegal Class B substance.
Industrial hemp (Cannabis Sativa L.) can be legally grown in the UK, if a hemp growing licence has been granted by the Home Office to the farm on which it is grown.
In particular, the seed from which the industrial hemp is grown must be a European Union approved seed. The THC concentration of the dried plant material must be below 0.2% w/w.
More details are available in the Low THC Cannabis (Industrial Hemp) Licensing Factsheet published by the Home Office.

CBD is an abbreviation for Cannabidiol.
Cannabidiol (CAS ID: 13956-29-1) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid constituent of industrial hemp (Cannabis Sativa L.). It is one of over 100 cannabinoids identified in hemp plants, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract.
CBD has garnered international attention and is the subject of scientific research worldwide.
In particular, some lines of study are investigating the link between CBD and how it may help support the endo-cannabinoid system or ECS.
We encourage our customers to do their own research into CBD before purchasing our CBD food supplements.
